Just like many of you, I tried my best to look best on my wedding.
Logging in today, checking when my last post was shocked me a little…
I can’t believe it’s been over 2 months since I last wrote!
I don’t really deserve to call myself a blogger, I simply don’t write enough!!!! Continue reading
I have been wanting to introduce this brand for so long, as usual…it took me quite a while to actually get to it (>.<)
So as most of you may have heard of the brand – Laduree, a well-known French Patisserie Brand. But I am not introducing their macaron (I know how much girls love them!), I am going to introduce their makeup brand!! (Yes, something we all love!!)
Les Merveilleuses Laduree is a relatively new brand – launched in Jan 2012, the makeup company behind this is Albion (which also has Anna Sui, Paul & Joe on their brand list). When I first saw their makeup, it literally took my breath away…it’s so pretty…gorgeous…stunning…, I can’t find the right word to describe it. I would dream of having all of their products sitting on my dresser! However, the dream won’t come true so soon because this brand is really really expensive!
So girls, picture time!!!
I am back from Hong Kong! Thanks again and again for joining the giveaway♥♥
And I have chosen a winner for the giveaway, she’ll be contacted through email♥♥
Hong Kong is always a great place to shop, unfortunately I didn’t have much time so there wasn’t any big haul >.<
But I did buy a couple of things during my trip, I’ll be writing a separate post for the tiny shopping I did♥ Continue reading
Last week when I was surfing the net randomly, I realized Suqqu was doing a beauty show the next day! Since I was in the neighbourhood and the time was perfect, I decided to stop by and check out their Spring/Summer collection.
And luckily, their makeup artist had some times to spare, and he did a quick makeup on me!
I have had experiences at other brand’s beauty counter but it wasn’t so pleasant, because they put way too many products on my face and caused breakouts (read my posts here) but Suqqu didn’t! I have been wanting to try a couple of their products, and I’m glad I did, because they are so pricey and I don’t know when I’ll be able to buy them…
Most of the products I have tried are new in their Spring/Summer collection.
1) Blend colour eyeshadow
~The colours are really pretty, and it’s quite long lasting
2) Creamy Grow Lipstick Moist in EX-08 Sangodama
~It’s a really pretty colour. Suqqu beauty advisor said this lipstick is really moisturising, we don’t need lip balm before using it. It’s kinda like an all-in-one lipstick. I think the lipstick is very moisturising, and it seems to be very popular because I heard it was sold out already.
3) Face Color Palette
~A very beautiful palette, the color is very light so perfect for a natural look.
4) Eyeliner creamy in Navy
~Long lasting, didn’t crease on me at all.
5) Balancing Eyebrow & Eyebrow Liquid Pen
~The colours are very natural, and the liquid pen is good for drawing missing brows
After trying a couple of products from Suqqu, not all the products are worth the price, so if you are interested in this Suqqu, I remember the followings:
1) Suqqu brushes – definitely best of the best, feels like air! It’s on top of my shopping list~
2) Their foundations (See my review here)
3) eyebrow liquid pen, not many makeup brands offer this kind of product, it would be useful if you wanna fill in your missing brows and still look natural.**I am doing a giveaway until Mar 2, don’t miss it! Click here to enter!
As promised, I will be doing a giveaway as soon as my blog has 50 followers, and the last time I checked, we are there!!
Hi all Beauty lovers♥
Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s been another year, last year I made Strawberry Poppers (stuffed with cheesecake), not so successful, so this year back to the safe choice, chocolate dipped strawberries! Simple ones! But I promise they do taste heavenly♥
In Japan, the custom is a little different from the rest of the world. Instead of girlfriends getting flowers/gifts/jewelry, boyfriends get chocolate from their girlfriend, female coworkers at work. In another word, girls have to buy chocolate for their boss, colleagues, and of course their boyfriend!
So Valentine’s Day is not just for Valentines in Japan! You are right, BUT girls do buy better/more expensive chocolate for “THE ONE”, yup their boyfriend! Cheaper ones for just friends and colleagues!
Guys don’t need to do anything then? Actually, instead of Feb 14 Valentine’s Day, guys give gifts in return on Mar 14, the “White Day” they call it~
May all of you have a sweet one with or without Valentine♥
